Update June 6, 2016

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback to the first draft document.  We are happy to share the next draft of the CACUSS Student Affairs and Services Competency Model – available via the links below.  We would appreciate your feedback on the competencies, their levels and our overall approach.  There are three ways for you to provide feedback in the next few weeks –

  1. Download the English and/or French document and make comments and edits using the track changes function, and email the revised copy to pdframework@shaw.ca
  2. Respond to the 5 questions in this survey
  3. Engage in the webinars on June 10 or June 15.

This round of consultation will close on June 22 at 4:00pm PST.

This will not be the only opportunity for feedback.  Multiple opportunities at the 2016 conference will be available for delegates as well.  Once we receive feedback, we will update the document for final presentation and submission to the CACUSS Board in July 2016.  A copy for the membership will be available shortly thereafter.

We look forward to hearing from you.

With thanks,

Darran Fernandez, Corinna Fitzgerald, Patty Hambler and Tracey Mason-Innes

Update May 20, 2016

We are happy to share a draft of the CACUSS Student Affairs and Services Competency Model – available via the links below.

  3. Host an in-house consultation on your institution’s campus by using this toolkit, and share results to pdframework@shaw.ca

This round of consultation will close on May 20 at 4:00pm PST.

As you review the document, we ask that you share through Facebook, Twitter or other social channels how you connect with a particular competency and/or how it shows up in your work using the hashtag #mycompetence.

This will not be the only opportunity for feedback. Once we receive feedback, we will update the document and share a final draft for feedback during webinars on June 10 and 15. There will also be opportunities to provide feedback at the CACUSS 2016 Conference.

The final Competency Model will be shared with the membership shortly after the conference.

We look forward to hearing from you.

With thanks,

Darran Fernandez, Corinna Fitzgerald, Patty Hambler and Tracey Mason-Innes
