Award of Honour
Established 1996, the CACUSS Award of Honour is the highest honour given to a member of CACUSS. The award will be given on the basis of merit and presented at the annual CACUSS conference. Normally, no more than three awards will be given in any one year.
The Award of Honour is presented in recognition of the following:
- Significant achievement and distinguished contribution to the development and promotion of student services
- Active participation within CACUSS and one of its divisions, committees or communities of practice. Active participation includes long-standing attendance at annual CACUSS conferences, workshop facilitation, presentations, undertaking research and/or serving on the CACUSS Board and/or a divisional Executive.
Award recipients shall receive a framed certificate. The awarding of the certificate and acknowledgement of the honoree will occur at the CACUSS Conference in June and award winners will be announced in the pre-conference edition of Communiqué and profiled with photos in the post-conference edition.

- There should be a Nominator and Seconder for each nominee.
- A letter of support should be provided with each nomination, outlining achievements and contributions to student services by the nominee. Nominations should be submitted to the Chair of the Nominations Committee.
Awards will be presented at the annual conference.
