CACUSS Life Membership Award
CACUSS members who have retired from their position in a post-secondary institution may be eligible for Life Membership in CACUSS. Such membership shall be granted to an individual by a vote of the CACUSS Board of Directors on the recommendation of a Community of Practice. Life Members shall be exempt from payment of dues to the Association and the division but shall retain all of the rights and privileges of dues-paying members, except for holding office or voting.

- Any member of CACUSS involved in a division or community of practice may recommend in writing to the CACUSS Board a retired member for Life Membership.
- The CACUSS President shall notify recipients and nominators. Presentations will be made at the annual conference.
- Life Members shall receive a framed certificate featuring the name of CACUSS.
- Life Members shall receive a free subscription to Communiqué, and general communications. Each year the Secretariat will make contact with Life Members to confirm their continued interest in receiving these materials.
