Assessment Challenges in Student Affairs

CACUSS 2004 Presentation - June 16, 2004
Eric Reich, Student Voice
Tony Conte, Ryerson University

The same dilemma exists in Student Affairs offices across the country: a one or two person office responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and interpretation of assessment projects in different Student Affairs units, each with diverse agendas and goals. Yet, in this period of limited resources and shrinking budgets, ongoing assessment has become absolutely critical. This program will show how the assessment program at Ryerson uses technology and teamwork to creatively enrich and enhance program and service delivery division-wide and will provide insight for assessment strategies that might be helpful on your campus.
