The Case Manager is responsible for addressing the overall needs of those impacted by bullying and harassment that can be characterized as trauma informed and person centred. The role is responsible for providing direct support to those impacted by bullying and harassment as well as supporting SFU students, staff and faculty supporting those individuals. The position assists individuals in understanding SFU's policy and collective agreement frameworks and WorkSafeBC legislation as it relates to bullying and harassment so that they may make informed decisions about seeking support and making reports to the University or through WorkSafeBC. The Case Manager implements processes, services and training to enhance, support and build connections between those impacted and relevant resources. The Case Manager works collaboratively with colleagues from across the University, including Safety & Risk Services, Human Resources, Office of Student Support, Rights and Responsibilities, and Faculty Relations to ensure consistency in approach and to develop new processes, services and training as required. The Case Manager will receive support, systems navigation, direction and guidance from the Director.
