The Opportunity: Associate Vice President, Enrolment Management

The Associate Vice-President Enrolment Management (AVPEM) will provide leadership and strategic direction in the development and implementation of CNC’s Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) work. The role liaises with CNC’s five SEM committees and other relevant stakeholders across the CNC community, including executive leadership, to coordinate, integrate, and accelerate strategic enrolment management at CNC. The AVPEM is responsible to lead the ongoing development and implementation of an enrolment management culture with key college stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Graduate degree in a relevant field; enrolment management education and/or credentials preferred,

• 10+ years of relevant post-secondary leadership experience which includes a combination of experience in strategic enrollment management, and project leadership/management; experience in student services and post-secondary teaching experience strongly preferred,

• Experience with change management and current technology used in enrolment management preferred, i.e. customer relationship management tools, recruitment technologies, admissions technology, tools, & processes, marketing and web technology, tools, processes,

• Demonstrated understanding of the system, philosophy, and mandate of colleges in BC is an asset,

• Experience working in a multi-campus environment preferred,

• Experience with Aboriginal education enrolment management services throughout the student life cycle,

• Experience with international marketing and recruitment, and related enrollment management services,

• Ability to recognize, value, and leverage skills demonstrated by team members and to provide challenging opportunities for professional development and growth,

• Experience working in a unionized environment.
