Mental health has been a key priority for post-secondary institutions (PSIs) for years and perhaps now more than ever support is needed. Given the new and changing realities with COVID-19, the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) and its partners are seeking a better understanding from the CACUSS community of the current unique challenges facing PSIs as well as the impact for supporting student mental health and well-being. Join the MHCC and a panel of experts from PSIs who will be sharing their experiences as well as supports and planning now and beyond.
Panelists will include:
Casey Caines - recent graduate of Grande Prairie Regional College in Alberta and a member of CICan’s Impact Student and Alumni Advisory
Raymond Neilsen - Director, Student Success Network and Clinical Education, Michener Institute of Education at UHN and a member of CICan’s Advisory Committee on Student Mental Health
