rescheduled: Decolonizing Assessment
Thursday, December 12, 2019 1:00-2:00 ET.
This webinar is part of a Webinar Series on Assessment. If you previously registered for this webinar or the series, you will receive a confirmation email regarding your registration in this new rescheduled date.
Assessment continues to be a hot topic in student affairs. We need data to support the stories we tell about the impact of our work. But as we learn more about Reconciliation, we are also learning how our current best practices are implicitly colonized. We started a conversation last year to being talking about how assessment is colonized, and this webinar is meant to continue that learning. Join our panel as they continue to consider and discuss the process of decolonizing our existing assessment practices in student affairs. Through the discussion, you will be able to ask questions, develop your empathy, and learn how we can start to approach assessment through other ways of knowing.
